Default Waterworld

I kinda liked this movie. I wished the sea was explored a little more and more was shown of the creatures. But' this is a fun watch. Costner is fun watching him try to be serious about whatever situation he's in(your a fishman, go fishing). The fact that the badguys smoke fiendishly is hilarious. The action is over the top. And, it almost pulls off the Mad Max on water feel. Anyone else?

I liked it too when I saw it, but I've only seen it at the time of its release, when I was 16. Perhaps now I might have a second opinion if I were to see it again. That's why I probably will avoid it and will have a relatively fond memory of it.

This is one that I've only ever caught glimpses of when it's on TV. I've managed to put the story line together, and I do like the ending and all, but I don't know if I could sit through it from beginning to end. I suppose I might try one of these days.

True, I really enjoy Waterworld too. Has anyone seen the supposed director's cut version? I have heard of it but never seen it.
