Yes, we are all movie fans (well most of us). So of course we are looking excited to a good looking movie (Have you read The Expendables comments?). But have you seen what's being released lately? "Some idiot to reboot a quality film in 3D". Hardly anything yo get excited about.
And the negative reception of the Avatar trailers and marketing is a result of people not liking what they are seeing. Pure and simple.

Uh, I'm the one rooting for (well, justifiably predicting) it's downfall. I don't like what I see, never have.
