Danny Boyle's to Next Direct "127 Hours"Posted: November 5th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
As predicted, Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire) will next direct "127 Hours," a film that tells the story of mountaineer Aron Ralston.
After his right forearm got pinned for nearly five days under a boulder during a climb in Utah in May, 2003, Ralston used a dull knife to amputate the limb. He then scaled a 65-foot sheer wall and hiked out before running into a family that gave him water and food. He was finally rescued by helicopter.
Boyle has written a treatment and Simon Beaufoy is in-talks to write the script. The goal is to have the film in front of the cameras next year for a late 2010 release.

soo..it's an hour and a half to two hours of a guy, pinned under a rock.....? boyle, really? it's an inspiring story.
the last thing we need is a Trainspotting sequel. Porno is just not as good and would only tarnish the reputation of the original.
BUT there has to be something much more interesting for boyle..come on..

This is the dumbest idea for a movie ever. That guy that got his arm stuck is an asshole. It's only too bad he didn't get his head stuck and had to amputate with a dull spoon

^^^^^Guy above me: You're an idiot if you really think that.
Good movie idea, but I need to see the next installment in the 28 Days series.

That is the most beautiful poem I have ever read. Ha ha. Guess you picked that illusion to a Poe work as your name for a reason, darkraven28.

I remember hearing about this first year of university...All we could say was this man has some of the biggest man balls on the planet. Definitely looking forward to a flick on this guy. He's sitting there on CNN with a stump making cracks at himself like everyone in the world would have been able to do the same. Hackin off the limb was just the start of his story- the man had to get out of the middle of nowhere.
Definitely a good idea for a survival flick.
