Darren Aronofsky Also Considered for "Superman" RebootPosted: September 28th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
A few days ago, it was revealed that Warner Bros was considering five helmers to direct the studio's upcoming "Superman" reboot, which Christopher Nolan is overseeing and is written by David Goyer.
The list includes Tony Scott (Enemy of the State, True Romance), Matt Reeves (Let Me In, Cloverfield), Jonathan Liebesman (Clash of the Titans 2, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Duncan Jones (Moon) and Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300).
And now, according to LA Times, Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler) has also been added to the list. Aronofsky is currently promoting his "Black Swan" film and recently revealed that he is still attached to the "Robocop" reboot.

Just pick someone and stop talking smack and do it
Get Nolan to direct and oversee. That way I know it will be good

Should just go with Tony Scott, make Superman like The Last Boy Scout and we have a winner.

Well... thx. to MGM f*cking up their finances, we're not going to see RoboCop anytime soon (if ever)... and Darren was to direct that.
THX. MGM... YOU f*ckING f*ckS!!!
PS: I am NOT a fan of 'remakes'... but RoboCop (ONLY the first one counts) was so classic... it's could use a 'The Matrix' upgrade.
As for this thread's topic... Crazyhorse said it first and best. Just get this f*ckING GOING ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of these guys would be good in their own way. How bout you just let them all make it? Each one gets their own Supes interpretation.

RIP Sally ...
Sally Menke, the editor of director Quentin Tarantino's films, was found dead along a Los Angeles hiking trail early Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County ...
Homicide's gonna be piecing that one together in the next few days ...
wow.
Hey, they say this comes in threes.
First Ms. Stuart, then Ms. Menke ...
anyone got the odds on the next one ?

Believe it or not... but Gladiator was written as they went along. Thx. to Crowe's input and improve it became the classic it has.
But yeah... this Supes reboot (considering their time remaining for the studio having rights to make this movie) is quite the cluster-f*ck!

Get Aranofsky and I'm sold. Not sold on the idea of Portman doing it one bit, but Aranofsky will get me there. He can get this project off the ground and through out of post. I mean sh*t, look what he made out of The Fountain. What a clusterf*ck that production was.
