Lead Female Villain Cast in "Mission: Impossible IV"Posted: October 8th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
  Lea Seydoux, the French actress who recently appeared in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" and the opening farmhouse scene of "Inglourious Basterds," will face off against Tom Cruise in the fourth "Mission: Impossible" installment. Seydoux will play the lead female villain in the movie, which just began shooting in Europe.
As previously announced, the male villain will be played by Michael Nyqvist (The Girl wit the Dragon Tattoo). Meanwhile, Deadline is reporting that Anil Kapoor, who played the game-show host in "Slumdog Millionaire, is in negotiations to play an "integral supporting role."
"Mission: Impossible 4" is directed by Brad Bird (Ratatouille, The Incredibles) and is currently shooting in Prague. It is scheduled to hit theaters on December 16th, 2011.

She really doesn't look like a villain. Neither does Nyqvist. I have a hard time picturing him going toe.to-toe with Cruise without making it look hilarious.

She's the lead (female) villain ? Why is it when I look at her I can only think of Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin and laugh my motherf*cking ass off ?

i.e. the stereotypical Arab terrorist from True Lies who gets hung from the rocket and whom Harry Tasker fires into a decemated office building, thus ending one raghead at a time.
Durkah. Durkah. Durkah.

Lead "female" villain? When will Hwood ever learn? This instantly crushes any hope I had for this film.

Speaking of stereotypical arab terrorists, have any of you seen "Four Lions"? If so, kudos to you. If not, do so.

If they wanted a woman with her vagina as a weapon why not cast Lohan? Then we'd truly has a mission impossible.

@CC Blev
Makes sense. Then the thing giving off vapors wouldn't be just the device Ethan uses to hear the mission.
With Lindsay, they'd have to rename themselves the Suicide Squad.
