Disney has unveiled the official poster for Tim Burton's stop-motion animated film "Frankenweenie," which is based on Burton's 1984 short by the same name. Check out the poster below.
Plot: After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life - with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.
"Frankenweenie" is written by John August (Big Fish) and features the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, and Atticus Shaffer. It is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on October 5th.

I think that The Nightmare Before Christmas best character was the dog. So making a movie with the same tone and vibe it's fine by me. And the plot doesn't sound that bad... for a dvd rental that is.
