Sure, Sandler has made some (plenty of) sh*tty films, but the guys at Golden Rasberries are essentially institutionalizing crass negativity and then negatively rewarding it, and I don't see how that helps or advances the state of cinematography, and thus it only puts actors and directors on the defensive.
Besides, I'm pretty sure Tatum has made more truly bad films in his young career than Sandler in two of his.

His early films like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Wedding Singer and the more serious stuff Punch Drunk (not seen Reign Over Me) Funny people (last half hour or so got a little lame though).
