"House" star Hugh Laurie is in negotiations to join the cast of the upcoming "RoboCop" remake. He'll play the villainous CEO of Omni Corp, which creates the title character for its own gain.
Gary Oldman is set to co-star as the scientist who creates RoboCop (Joel Kinnaman), while Samuel L. Jackson has also signed on to play a patriotic media mogul. Abbie Cornish will play his conflicted wife, a role described as a female lead, which hints that the film may not have Alex Murphy's former partner Anne Lewis.
The new movie is directed by Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) and will begin shooting this summer for an August 9th, 2013 release.

And Hugh Laurie is god on TV. But 'Stuart little' , 'Flight of ...' and 'Street Kings'?? he doesn't light up the movie screen really. I'd love to see him kick ass for cinema, but it just hasn't happened yet.

That's something I am not sure about but still this cast keeps on getting better and better.
First Oldman, then L. Jackson and now this.
