Just recently, a "Dumb and Dumber" sequel was on its way with the Farrelly brothers, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels all returning. But despite being excited about reprising his role, Carrey revealed that he's dropping out, blaming everything on Warner Bros' lack of enthusiasm.
TMZ has now caught up with Daniels to find out what's going on with the sequel. "Are we ever going to get another 'Dumb and Dumber'? Well, it's on the internet. We're not doing it," he said. "It's all over the internet. It's not happening."
Watch the video below to see Daniels' response. Judging by his attitude, it seems that Carrey never bothered to speak to him before deciding to drop out. And Daniels seems angry that he had to find out about it just like everyone else.
Jim Carrey acting career forthe last 10 years has been awful. After the Bruce Almighty, he really, really, try hard to move into serious sh*t like N. 23, he couldn't get it right. Beside having a bad director and f*ck up script, you all know this is not typical Carrey movies (The Majectic was good, but it really don't work like a serious drama) and now with this deciding not coming back because Warner didn't care about the movie! Come on Dumb & Dumber happen a long time ago, and the people who liked it this one, has probably die or move on into another things.
Even I like Jeff Daniels, he style of acting has change a lot since 101 Dalmatians. He is not anymore a comedian type guy material. Just look at his movies recently and his upcoming TV Series, and you will see the Harry will all love has completely been lost. So for the good of all, I think this was the correct move for this one!!!!!!
