Trailer: Frank Langella's "Robot and Frank" Sci-Fi Film Posted: June 25th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Samuel Goldwyn Films has unveiled the trailer for "Robot and Frank," a sci-fi movie starring Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Peter Sarsgaard, Jeremy Sisto and Jeremy Strong. Check it out below. Plot: Set in the near future, Frank (Langella), a retired cat burglar, has two grown kids (Marsden, Tyler) who are concerned he can no longer live alone. They are tempted to place him in a nursing home until Frank's son chooses a different option: against the old man's wishes, he buys Frank a walking, talking humanoid robot (voiced by Sarsgaard) programmed to improve his physical and mental health. What follows is an often hilarious and somewhat heartbreaking story about finding friends and family in the most unexpected places. The new movie is directed by commercial helmer Jake Schreier, who is making his feature film debut. It is set to hit theaters on August 24th, in limited release.

Frank is always great, even in worthless flicks.
This film, not so sure. Though I'm fairly certain I'll watch it online some day when I'm bored sh*tless at work.

Funny, years ago Langella was married to Sarandon and now they're in a film together. They are a good professionals. This looks good btw.
Langella was excellent as Dracula, lots of charisma, better than Oldman IMO.
