First Look: Tom Cruise" in "Jack Reacher" ThrillerPosted: June 28th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have the first photos of Tom Cruise as the title characters in Paramount Pictures' "Jack Reacher," which is a thriller based on Lee Child's best-selling novel "One Shot." Check out the photos below.
Cruise plays an ex–military policeman turned vigilante drifter, who finds himself drawn into the case of a sniper who randomly targeted civilians. "He's very solitary, but he can't walk away from a situation that needs to be made right," said director Christopher McQuarrie. "He can't leave until it’s been resolved. That's his Achilles heel."
The new movie co-stars Rosamund Pike, David Oyelowo, Richard Jenkins, Alexia Fast, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney and Werner Herzog, and is set to hit theaters on December 21st.

That's a pretty good idea for Max Payne. Needed a better script, something that resembled the first game, with more violence.

Tom didn't know he was playing Jack Reacher. He thought it was 'Jack-off Reach-around' co-starring Travolta.

Cruise knows how to stand for the camera. Hope to be a thrilling thriller as the based novel should deliver a promising film.
And Rosamund, hmmm, mighty fine British hottie...

Despite the best of all possible cosmetic surgery, Tom is starting to show his age. I guess the scientific application of youthful remedies to aid narcissism have their limits after all.
And it should have been F. Paul Wilson's Repairman Jack to get a novel, as the first book in that series, The Tomb, is vastly better than anything Lee Child has ever, will ever, write.
