We just showed you an international trailer for the futuristic action thriller "Looper," starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. And today, we have a brand new domestic trailer, featuring lots of new footage. Check it out below.
Plot: In the new movie, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" – a hired gun, like Joe (Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Willis) for assassination.
"Looper" is written and directed by Rian Johnson (The Brothers Bloom, Brick), and co-stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo and Jeff Daniels. It is set to hit theaters on September 28th.

It's played out because the people involved don't understand the general idea, and neither does the audience.
I wonder if it'll be any better than Lockout. That was a confusing film. One minute, I was fully rooting for the film, the next minute, wondering if Besson paid the scriptwriter and CGI team in tea and skittles.
