Halle Berry and Abigail Bresling have signed on for "The Hive" thriller, a new movie being developed by wrestling company WWE. It is being directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist) from a script by Rick D'Ovidio (Exit Wounds).
Plot: Emergency Call Center Operator Jordan (Berry) takes a call from Casey (Breslin) a teenage girl who has been abducted and carried away in the trunk of a car. The kidnapping plays out in real time as Jordan and Casey work together to track down the killer in this high stakes thriller.
"'The Hive' is an ideal addition to WWE Studios' slate of films given its strong award-winning cast and exciting story," said WWE Studios president Michael Luisi. "We are looking forward to working with Brad Anderson on this picture."
Principal photography is scheduled to begin on July 6th in and around Los Angeles.

This is the very definition of slumming. Halles career has gone south ever since catwoman. She lost all credability after that. And breslin lost hers when was in new years eve. Soooo bad. She even flashed her bra at SJP in that movie for really no aparent reason either. Now its wrestlers that they take orders from. Sooo sad

i really enjoy Brad Anderson's work for the most part, but with WWE. This should be interesting. Hopefully good interesting and not bad.
