Disney Turning Marvel's "Big Hero 6" into Animated MoviePosted: June 29th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Disney Animation is developing an animated movie, based on Marvel's "Big Hero 6," for the big screen. Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) is on board to direct. The new film is expected to hit theaters in 2014 and will be Disney's first animated Marvel movie.
The superhero team is a Japan-based group created in 1998 that originally included Silver Samurai, Sunfire, GoGo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Hiro Takachiho and Baymax. The characters recently made an appearance in Dan Slott's "End of the Earth" storyline in "The Amazing Spider-Man" comics.
It's unclear which superheroes will end up in the movie, since Silver Samurai and Sunfire originated in the "X-Men" comics. The "X-Men" film franchise is owned by 20th Century Fox, which will use the Silver Samurai in the upcoming "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" sequel.

I take it Disney no longer makes anything themselves, then, and just leeches off everyone else like the bloodsucking parasite they are.
Gonna be a damned shame then when audiences get sick of Pixar's CGI, and comic book movies in general. Better get ready to open that vault wider than a ten dollar whore's twat.

Disney fans would destroy the entire Sci-fi community if lines were drawn. They own Marvel for a reason. Originality isn't even a staggering concept for them anymore. They've ascended natural means to achieve Nirvana.
