Its Happening: New Season of Arrested Development to Shoot in Four WeeksSubmit Comment
After years of rumors and promises, it's finally happening. Jason Bateman has announced on his Twitter page that filming on the new season of "Arrested Development" will begin in just four weeks. He also posted a photo of him, show creator Mitch Hurwitz and producer/narrator Ron Howard (pictured) working on the series.

Once completed, all ten new episodes will become available to Netflix subscribers in 2013 (on the same day). Unfortunately, only US subscribers will be able to watch. Those living outside the US will have to wait for the eventual DVD.

The plan is to shoot the series and then move right into an "Arrested Development" movie, which will likely be shot this summer as well.

Pffft. That's nothing. I shot an hour ago.

Yeah. They'll have to wait. Until someone invents this thing called the internet. Oooooh.

And knowing Bateman's luck, he'll die the day before they start.

He was always the retarded Michael J. Fox without the constant breakdancing.
