Which Batmobile is Your Favorite? Watch Trailer for The Batmobile DocumentarySubmit Comment
Warner Bros has unveiled a trailer for "The Batmobile," a new documentary that's set to be previewed at the San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday. It will then air on Monday, July 16th at 8pm EST on The CW.

Plot: From its inception in the late 1930s, the Batmobile has been a symbol of power, hope and justice, as well as the pinnacle of technology as the most awe-inspiring weapon in Batman's arsenal. In its contemporary and most robust form as the Tumbler, the Batmobile is a combination of creativity, advanced technology and the pursuit of "justice on wheels."

The documentary uses archival footage, images and illustrations of the Batmobile from its birth to present day. Interviews include actors Christian Bale and Adam West, and directors Christopher Nolan, Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton.

hmm...this is difficult.

I guess I would go for the tumbler, even though it acts more as a substitute for the batmobile. For me, it's raw power coupled with what is probably the best "batmobile" chase in the series (obviously the older installments lacked the capability)that make it my favourite.

Batman Forever's isn't bad, but I would probably rank Burton's second.

i recall the one from 'batman forever' being the coolest.

It's more of a war vehicule than a bat-automobile. Taking the base of Corvette didn't convince me enough so, I think the latest one is the most appropriate as it became bigger in proportion with a bigger challenge of his ennemies.

I gotta choose the '66 Batmobile.
Not a fan of the Tumbler. I would have liked a custom Lamborghini or something similar.

'If I had a Batmobile... I could do anything!'

Buddy... with your face, a Batmobile wouldn't even get you laid.

This one:

It elegantly combines the off-road capabilities of Nolan's hideous and impractical Tumbler with the sleek, stylish aerodynamics of Burton's vision.

(they didn't mean from just the movies, btw....)

Based on pure looks then is batman forever.
Based on rugged power and durability than its tumbler.
Burtons was too plain looking for me. It was cool but not cool enough. Batman and robins was a total fail just like the movie. I mean it had no canopy cover on it....batman was exposed to anyone with a pea shooter. Thats just stupid. Same goes for the 66 batmobile. Looked alright but totally impractical. So id say its close but batman forevers was by far the best looking and had plenty of versatality. It could climb walls people. Not to mention it died by sabotage before its time. Anything that dies ypung tragicly goes up in value lol

Sure, but the most dangerous thing shooting at Batman in '66 was the Penguin's smoking, spinning umbrella.

And NONE of the Batman's ever came CLOSE to topping this scene from 1966:
