"Kung Fu Panda 3" Officially AnnouncedPosted: July 13th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
DreamWorks Animation has announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that it's moving forward with a third "Kung Fu Panda" film. The first two installments grossed more than $1.2 billion globally.
"Right now we have ten movies in production and eight or nine in pre-production or advanced form of script development," said Bill Damaschke, Chief Creative Officer for the studio.
Among the other new movies are Guillermo Del Toro's "Rise of the Guardians," as well as "The Croods," voiced by Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone and Nicolas Cage. The studio is also planning "Me and My Shadow" and the "Madagascar" penguins spin-off.

Thank GOD! With all these original titles I was worried the studio had forgotten about making more sequels.

Dreamworks Animation is what you get when you take Pixar, remove all the talent and replace it with soulless shoeless Chinese CGI artists, and combine it with the work ethic of a bowl of breeding flesh-eating bacteria.

After reading how much the Avengers made, every time a movie series makes less, I laugh.
