Will "Resident Evil" and "Underworld" Merge Into New Franchise?

I can't stand the Resident evil films, the first and second games were amazing but this is such an uninteresting film series, and just so it's clear Predators was miles better then both the AVP films

I'm going to start a rumor Paul W. Anderson will die really soon, because the way I see it, starting rumors on the internet is the best way of getting what you want.

I think any fan of Resident Evil would love to see this franchise die and a reboot where they stay true to the games begin immediatly.

I remember watching the bonus features on the first Resident Evil movie and the d*ckhole of a director/writer didn't want to copy the first game cause then the audience knew what was gonna happen.

So the f*ck what? Did that stop them making the Harry Potter/LOTR or any other movie based off something?

The RE films are far from the games, do they even deserve being called Resident Evil?

i don't see how they could logically be merged into one movie, unless it was some kind of dual movie Prequel, considering zombie have taken over much of the world in the 4th and 5th installment, and there is no evidence of any kind of worldwide apocalypse in the Underworld movies.
