The first film was watchable. I enjoyed the first half, the basic training scenes. But it fell apart to me after that. He just seems like a character better suited for an Avengers film, instead of a solo screen adventure. I hope they at least write him a little less earnest and apple pie-ish in the sequel. Some of his dialogue in the Avengers was awful.

I just ignore them and try to enjoy the website, even thought the other one I been posting info from seems to update much faster.
Its not like you don't have people making racist comments on all blogs of all races. I honestly would like to relax on this one without some of the bullsh*t, but life's not perfect.
As far as this actor goes.. I liked him in The Adjustment Bureau, but dont know the character he would be playing. I don't know if he would be good or bad for it.
Doesn't even have to be a African-American for the part, because I believe any of these characters race shouldn't matter.. IF you have the right Actor.

There used to be all kinds of up in arms when I'd make such comments back when. Now... it's like water off a duck's back. And I HOPE they're taking that same tolerance, taking the high road out into their daily lives. Racism will outlive us all (unfortunately).
