Peter Morgan, the Oscar-nominated writer of "Frost/Nixon," "The Queen" and "The Last King of Scotland," is in negotiations to write the script for the upcoming Hugh Hefner biopic, called "Playboy," that's being produced by Jerry Weintraub (The Karate Kid, Ocean's Eleven).
According to Hefner, he had a meeting with Morgan on Tuesday. "I had a good meeting today with screenwriter Peter Morgan discussing a film about my life," Hefner wrote on his Twitter page.
Meanwhile, James Franco is playing Hefner in the upcoming "Lovelace" film, about the late porn star Linda Lovelace.
