"Jurassic Park 4" to Hit Theaters in 2014Posted: July 21st, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
During last year's Comic-Con, Steven Spielberg announced that he already worked out the story for "Jurassic Park 4" and was hoping to make the film in two or three years. Then last month, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver were hired to write the script.
Now, Collider had the chance to speak to producer Frank Marshall, who confirmed that the plan is still to have the film in theaters in two years, likely during the summer since it's a "popcorn movie."
He went on to say that it's definitely a sequel, and even though Spielberg won't be directing, he'll be heavily involved in the development. And the reason why Marshall and Spielberg are so interested in the fourth film, is because there's an opportunity to take advantage of all the technological advancements that have been made in recent years.
"That's what’s gonna be great about it, technology hass taken a leap now that we can really do some great things," he said, adding that the dinosaurs won't all be CGI because practical effects feel more realistic to audiences.

Noooooooo. screw any cgi. Jurassic Park was made almost 20 years ago and had better effects than any movie today because of great animatronics. I'm sure if they use that same tech, the movie would be a lot cheaper and more income. they should care about that.

I say call up sam neil and offer hjm a gig. Make it a dinosaur fight club movie. Cut off the velociraptors arms, cut its claws off and tie its mouth together and stick it and neil in a walled off jungle enclave and watch the grudge match.

I recently watched the first two ones and they are still a lot of fun to watch, the third one well it sucked.
I've always been fascinated by dinosaurs and I like action packed cgi shots, if they wrap JP4 around a great story I'm all up for it.
So I'll be there first day, all you other guys just stay home and watch porn. deal?

Even though the third sucked I still want a sequel.
I always thought the film that followed the second should have incorporated the plot of the legal ramifications in brings a t-rex to states and also in producing dinosaurs. Hammon goes on trial, and the government send in the army and others to capture the dinosaurs. Dino experts from the first one could return. And maybe theres a merc group wanting the dinosaurs for some reason, I don't know. Obviously sh*t gets real in the movie.
Pretty much a rehash of the second but (hopefully) not as lame.

I wish they would had built upon the fore shadowing of who ever was paying "Newman" to steal the genetic material in the first one . Have the corp that was paying him recover the canister and they then build a Triassic Park . Hey it can't be any worse then JP3.
