New Photo of Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock in "Hitchcock"Posted: July 23rd, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Back in April, we got our first look at Anthony Hopkins as director Alfred Hitchcock from the upcoming "Hitchcock" film that's being directed by Sacha Garvasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil). And today, we have a new photo of Hopkins, offering a new glimpse at the actor in full make-up. Check it out below.
"Hitchcock" is based on the book "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" by Stephen Rebello. It is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville (Helen Mirren). The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock's seminal movie "Psycho."
The film will also star Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man) as Lew Wasserman, Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine)) as Hitchcock's secretary Peggy, Michael Wincott (The Count of Monte Cristo) as Ed Gein, Kurtwood Smith (To Die For) as Geoffrey Shurlock, Richard Portnow (Good Morning Vietnam) as Barney Balaban and Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Whitfield Cook.

No mink. Kirk Douglas (I'm sad to say) will be the next to go.
And Hopkins will knock this out of the park, like he always does.

Why do people watch these kinds of films? You know, pseudo-biographical sh*t? It's a legitimate question. Do they do it to learns something about the person in question? Because if so, they're getting fed misinformation, like Walk the Line, as if that was a genuine portrayal of Johnny Cash. Is it for entertainment? I guess, but I'm sure there's better avenues to get your thrills. You know, like Transformers.
Just read a book on the person in question, one written by someone authorized to do so, or one respected in the biographical field.
Nothing but exploitation from an industry eating it's own ass imo.
Here's one.

Good reviews, well rated. For people who can read. The few left anyway.
