Police Called to Two More "The Dark Knight Rises" ScreeningsPosted: July 24th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Just a few days after James Holmes shot and killed 12 people and injured 58 others during a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Colorado, another man is now facing criminal charges for his role in a fight that took place during a screening of the same movie in Pennsylvania.
Police said that the fight started in a bathroom, where a child knocked on a stall door. After the man inside repeatedly told him that there was someone inside the stall, the child reportedly swore at the individual, who then confronted the boy's mother and punched her in the face.
At some point during the argument, a moviegoer shouted "Gun!," which sparked the panic inside the theater, sending audience members running for the exits. Some people had fallen in the aisle during the stampede, with many stating that they were "very scared."
Police did not release the name of the 52-year-old man, who will be charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. They added that the crowed was probably a little quicker to panic because of the Colorado shootings. That same theater's lobby was also the site of a fatal shooting in 2005.
Meanwhile, police were called to a NJ theater after a man stood up 90 minutes into "The Dark Knight Rises" and opened an emergency exit. As a precaution, the screening was cancelled.

Whoever randomly yelled "gun!" is a real *sshole. They should have tackled the sh*t out that guy instead.
The second story is just borderline ridiculous. "Oo0oh NOOO!! That guy opened a door!!"

So...this didn't actually occur within the session, but rather just inside of the building?
Little bit of a difference.

Cancelling the movie because someone opened a door is ridiculous.

The fun thing here would to go out and buy a ten dollar untraceable Tracfone, and then use it to start calling theaters in the area threatening mass extinctions. But no, people have their fun the dumb way and end up in jail. Morons.

Paranoia is a powerful thing. I caught myself checking the emergency exits throughout the movie. I probably would have freaked out to if somebody would have opened the emergency exit during the movie.

OMG! That would super fun, Minkowski!
More f*cking tasteless jokes about the Colorado shootings. It's amazing how you try to paint this image of yourself being of a higher quality than the rest of us, but then you say stupid, immature sh*t like this. Pathetic man....just pathetic.
