Jeremy Renner (The Bourne Legacy, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol) is in talks with DreamWorks to star in a WikiLeaks movie as Julian Assange, the controversial founder of the website that's responsible for leaking government documents.
In order to research material for the film, the studio secured the rights to two tell-all books in February, "Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website" by Daniel Domscheit-Berg and "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy," by David Leigh and Luke Harding.
DreamWorks are also in talks with Bill Condon (Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Dreamgirls) to direct the film.
