Today we have two new images of Gollum from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," featuring the before and after shots. The before is Andy Serkis wearing the motion-capture suit and the after is the finalized, animated version. Check out both below.
Plot: Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), a Hobbit, journeys to the Lonely Mountain accompanied by a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.
Peter Jackson returned to direct the "The Hobbit," which is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on December 14th, 2012. The sequel will follow on December 13th, 2013.
