"GI Joe 2" Director May Helm "He-Man" MoviePosted: July 31st, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Jon M Chu, the director of "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" and the upcoming "GI Joe" sequel, is in talks with Sony Pictures to helm "Masters of The Universe," a live-action film based on Mattel's toy line.
"Masters of The Universe" film revolves around He-Man, a prince who transforms into a warrior and becomes the last hope for a magical world that has been ravaged by the sinister Skeletor.
Ever since the 1987 film that starred Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor, several studios have tried to develop a live-action He-Man film. "Masters of the Universe" has been successful as an animated property, but Sony Pictures has become interested in a script by Alex Litvak (The Three Musketeers) and Mike Finch. That script was previously called "Grayskull."

Frank Langella was Skeletor??
nosh*t,he was a pimp Dracula
I figured that type of movie was beneath him
but he dated Whoopi so f*ckit
Kate Nelligan was smokin
The bad news is that this guy Chu is a Tatum fan and will most likely put him in this movie
Tatum dying while they reshoot more of him in GI Joe2 because Duke dying pissed homos off would be poetic

Channing Tatum as He-Man, Tom Hardy as Skeletor. Shia LeBe...whatever, as Orko, and the cat from Milo and Otis as Cringer. Kristin Stewart as Teela and Gary Oldman as Man-at-Arms.
Done.

I'm not knocking anyone who can get work in Hollywood as a director, but do you really won't to be the guy who has a couple of films based on toys on your resume?

MINK, you f*ckin nailed it!
They would totally pull a 'Battleship" by casting a heavyweight like Oldman surrounded by all those turds
If we could have the same cast as the original but with todays technology and different script it could be francise worthy

Langella was a good Dracula. He has often said that one of his favorite, most fun roles was that of Skeletor. He said he enjoyed the reaction his kids(or grandkids?) got out of it.

What *isn't* homosexual about a mostly naked man in fur underwear riding a cat while screaming "I have the power" and thrusting his phallic sword?

I'm going to have to see this f*cking Conan remake then, if bando constantly insists on insisting it's 'good'.
Damn you anyway.
"grown men are obsessed with comic book characters and toys."
For them, it's a compensation for not being able to obsess on p*ssy to much of any satisfaction.

Conan in Space, that's all He-Man is. f*cking Conan in Space.
Thundarr the Barbarian was a hell of a lot better btw even if it did ape Star-Wars down the princess character and the Chewbacca looking thing.
And Avatar. Smurfs in Space.
So what can we come up with that would succeed in similar fashion? Lets see. How about Titanic in Space? The Towering Inferno in space? GI JOE in space? Bullit in space?
Lots of ideas, Hollywood. Lots of ideas.
*ssholes.

@Mink: LOL mate. As much as they lowered the educational standards in high schools, Hollywood has applied this practice with their ideas, screenplays, etc. Bunch of retards to feed more retards. Our actual society is so wrong on so many levels, areas. It's really sad when you start analyzing the situation we live in.

^^Maybe, Bullit, but I bet most Euros can find Japan on a map, or multiply two two-digit numbers. Over here they know Katy Perry's favorite color and the number of times Tom Cruise has had his chin tucked.
Dumbasses.
