John Leguizamo has joined the cast of the upcoming "Kick-Ass" sequel. He'll be playing Javier, the bodyguard assigned to protect aspiring villain Red Mist, the role to be reprised by Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
The new movie will be directed by Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down, Cry_Wolf) and will focus on Chloe Moretz's character as she gives up on being Hit-Girl. "I was quite interested in what happens to her when she's not being Hit-Girl," said Wadlow. "Her story is a major, major part of the film."
The rest of the cast includes Aaron Johnson and even possibly Nicolas Cage. The plan is to start shooting in September in Toronto, before moving on to London.

I don't think John Leguizamo is a bad actor but more half of the movies he starred in sucked. Also, if Nic Cage is back, they should rename his character as Burnt Daddy.
