During a press conference for the upcoming "Total Recall" remake, Jessica Biel was asked if she would be interested in playing April O'Neil in Michael Bay's upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie.
"I always liked the 'Ninja Turtles,'" she replied. "I dig April, she's cool. She wore a yellow suit and she was a redhead. That was a great show, I loved it as a kid so sure! Yeah!"
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) and was initially set to begin shooting in October. Realizing that more script work was necessary, the studio decided to push back production and has set the film's release date for May 16th, 2014.

This will only work if they make it dark and gritty and appeal to the original audience of the shows who are now in their 20s & 30s. But there's no chance of that happening so I guess I'll just accept that this will be kids CGI with cheesey one liners.

Seriously, people badmouthing Biel need to recall the lady who took the role in the original film. Chick looked NOTHING like April, and was somewhat annoying, so I see this as an improvement on the original.
