First Look: Hugh Jackman on "The Wolverine" Set

Doesn't look as big as I expected him to. But neither did Tom Hardy as Bane in pictures.

What happened with all his hair? He look better in the first movie (no homo) ...

Blahh....That's not a new look, that's just Hugh Jackman. Anyway, one can only imagine what the mayor was thinking when she is taking picture with the jackman.

Yeah, jacket and all, but he doesn't look that big. Neck and shoulders is aight.

Aronosfky wanted him to bulk up to 240, Mangold - not so much as it seems.

I sorta wanna see him wear the mask in this. Even if only for a second or so.

This can't be any worse than the first, can it? I really want this to be good. Wolverine is a kick-ass character, and I've for the most part enjoyed Jackman in the role.
But when Aronofsky left I got nervous. And even though Jackman has said this script felt perfect to him, Aronofsky may have thought otherwise.

Actually there were pictures like in early 2011 of Hugh Jackman looking bigger than ever before but since this movie had soooo many delays shooting it only makes sense that he stopped, it only makes sense to stop bulking up, eating twice as much, for a year can be really exhausting. Too bad they didnt start shooting last year.

Jackman has that fifty year-old gay jock look going on, the one I imagine is quite popular with certain WP users as they troll, no pun intended, the casual sex corners of Craigslist, after of course sliding the recliner away from the refrigerator door.

If The Wolverine is R rated, has a great script, a good timeline and ignores X-Men Origins: Wolverine then I am intreseted.

I hope this gets done right.

They re-wrote what was formerly a great script, replaced a great director, changed shooting locations, the lead is less imposing second time around, the production was delayed a year, etc. etc....but hey maybe this film will be incredible!

I like Jackman as Wolverine. I'll see this just because he's always good at the part, even when he's the only good thing about the movie. Setting expectations extremely low though.

Hugh Jackman is the perfect Wolverine... and I assume if they replaced him people here would be more pissed off.

I think he Never should've been Cast as Wolverine, He is Far from perfect and not just cuz he's tall. His performance as Wolverine is weak and It's gotten progressively worst with each movie even though he's worked so hard to look more like the character with each movie.

I can't wait for him to f*ck off so they can start with a new actor. This franchise has been nothing but wasted potential and Jackman is a huge part of that reason.
