Vanessa Hudgens (Journey 2, Sucker Punch) is the latest actress to join the cast of Robert Rodriguez's upcoming "Machete" sequel, called "Machete Kills." She will play a character called Cereza.
Plot: The story finds the titular ex-federale (Danny Trejo) recruited by the US government to stop an arms dealer (Mel Gibson) from launching a deadly missile.
The new movie co-stars Demian Bichir, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana, Jessica Alba, Alexa Vega, Lady Gaga, William Sadler and Charlie Sheen. A release date has yet to be set.

The bigger question is will MACHETE KILLS AGAIN become MACHETE VS./JOINS THE EXPENDABLES?!?
MACHETE KILLS already has a crazy cast and Trejo is missing from the 2 Expendables movies when he would have fit right in.
Just have RR direct it and it should be fun because I doubt Simon West will direct a 3rd film and Sly probably won't do it either.
