Today we have an alternate trailer for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," which appeared in theaters before Pixar's "Brave," but was never released online. The reason why it was never released is because it only contains a few seconds of new footage. Check out the trailer below.
Plot: Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), a Hobbit, journeys to the Lonely Mountain accompanied by a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.
Peter Jackson returned to direct the "The Hobbit," which is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on December 14th, 2012. The sequel will follow on December 13th, 2013.
i dont understand the "hype", for lack of a better word, over this. the lord of the rings films are good, not great, but good. but the hobbit was always boring and the book sucked to be honest. thats just one opinion but i have no desire to see this. id rather watch paranormal activity 4, at least bitches go to watch those movies.
Hardly any new footage here.
Can't wait for this. Read The Hobbit as a kid and just re read it. But have to admit it feels a world away from LOTRs. Talking Bear, Dragon, Spiders, etc. Though I think PJ confirmed the spiders will not talk. But that might help this, if it offers something different from the same world.

Surely and more surely, that has certainly never stopped them before....
