Photos of Bearded Hugh Jackman on "The Wolverine" SetPosted: August 5th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
  We recently showed you photos of a shirtless Hugh Jackman shooting "The Wolverine" in Kurnell, Australia that has been transformed into a Japanese WWII prisoner of war camp. Since then, production has moved to Picton, which has been made to look like a town in the Yukon. And photos from the Picton set show a different Jackman, one with long hair and a beard. Check out the photos below.
"The Wolverine" finds Logan (Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel clashes with adamantium claws as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
The new movie is directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line) and is set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.

I just hope he's not pulling a Ridd*ck!!
Actually, if this movie doesn't work, I think Jackman should put the claws away for awhile & start doing Marvel movie cameos...until finding time to regroup & rethink the character.
Jackman is great, don't get me wrong, but plot issues & always trying to show more Marvel characters weighs down the movie & f*cks up the chance to make this character cool again...with every movie flop, they take off a bit of the shine to this character.
I think Jackman should wait it out with B. Singer of how this character can get back to a movie the fanboys can be proud of IMO.

I think the director is going Batman Begins style on Wolverine which is a good thing if this movie has no mention of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

so this is going to be taking place in what the late 80's? with flashbacks to WWII of course, hopefully itll lead up to the first x-men movie nicely since it took place late 90s early 00s. or at least send him on his way back to america.
after that lets see whatever "first class 3/days of future past 2" will be called tie up to origins. then lets finally see x-men 4 with mr. sinister and x-men 5 with apocalypse.

@celluloid
I think Brian Singer is the problem, sure he basically made the xmen a viable film adaptation franchise, but he went too tealistic with it, theyre people with superpowers who dress in tights, why not keep it pure the way Donner did with superman, it is what it is. I think a Tarantino adaptation of Frank Millers Wolvie miniseries would have

I imagine living in the wilderness like mountain folk, she would just let the flow run wild. Or at best shove a bunch of leafs or a pine cone inside for a plug. The best thing of all, you have your very own potpourii which last for weeks to keep the cabin smelling extra woodsie.

Now we know how Wolvie was able to track down that bear. Bait, sniff and snatch! It would have been great for Frank Miller to include that in Wolverine #1 when he hunted down and gutted that rogue bear.

Or is he starring in a remake of 'Encino Man'?
