Today we have the trailer for "Playing for Keeps," starring Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Judy Greer. Check it out below.
Plot: A former professional athlete with a weak past tries to redeem himself by coaching his son's soccer team, only to find himself unable to resist when in scoring position with his players' restless and gorgeous moms.
The new movie is directed by Gabriele Muccino (Seven Pounds, The Pursuit of Happyness) and is set to hit theaters on December 7th.

I'm still in disbelief how this guy managed to produce an entire career for himself out of 300. While Oscar winners and nominees these days are doing straight to DVD (or Blu-Ray?) releases.

Even the title is lame. Sounds like a Lifetime TV movie...but with a more schmaltzy plot.
On a side note, I shed a tear for Dennis Quaid's career when I saw the trailer. Firing his agent is long overdue.
