Jennifer Lawrence got her big break in 2010 with the Oscar-nominated film "Winter's Bone." In just two short years, the 22-year-old actress has starred in two massively-popular franchises, "X-Men: First Class" and "The Hunger Games."
With "The Hunger Games" sequel set to begin shooting next month, THR has learned that Lawrence will get a pay raise. The first film grossed $683 million globally on a $78 million budget, but the actress earned just $500,000, plus box office bonuses.
After some negotiations, the actress will now earn $10 million for the sequel. And depending on the film's performance, she could end up earning much more. There's also a chance to get an even bigger salary hike for the third and fourth "Hunger Games" installments.
And there's always the higher paycheck for the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" sequel.

Who casts the first movie of a francise based on a series of popular books and renegotiates contracts after every movie instead of establishing a set # from the beginning for all sequels.
