Today we have the trailer for "Antiviral" sci-fi thriller, which stars Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men: First Class), Sarah Gadon and Malcolm McDowell. It is written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, the son of David Cronenberg (Eastern Promises, The Fly). Check out the trailer below.
Plot: Syd March (Jones) is an employee at a clinic that sells injections of live viruses harvested from sick celebrities to obsessed fans. When he becomes infected with the disease that kills super sensation Hannah Geist (Gadon), Syd becomes a target for collectors and rabid fans. He must unravel the mystery surrounding her death before he suffers the same fate as she did.
The new movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, but a release date has yet to be set.

So I have to watch Lysol ads to see trailers? Anyone else see a problem with this? Ads to watch ads? I mean, I know capitalism is cannibalistic and incestuous, but...wow.
Yeah its pretty gnarly and disturbing (I guess it runs in the family), but seriously what a stupid concept. What sane person would get infected with a disease contracted by a celebrity, especially if your not getting it through sex. Bill and Ted 3 is a better idea.
