Trailer for Death Race 3: InfernoSubmit Comment
Back in 2008, director Paul WS Anderson (Resident Evil, AVP) decided to remake Sylvester Stallone's 1975 film "Death Race 2000." The movie went on to gross $75 million globally on a $45 million budget. Hardly a hit, but enough for Universal Pictures to greenlight more installments for the DVD market.

Today, we have the trailer for the third film, called "Death Race 3: Inferno," which stars Luke Goss, Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, Robin Shou, Fred Koelher, Dougray Scott and Hlubi Mboya. A release date has yet to be set. Check out the trailer below.

Plot: Convicted cop-killer Carl Lucas (Goss), aka Frankenstein, is a superstar driver in the brutal prison yard demolition derby known as Death Race. Only one victory away from winning freedom for himself and his pit crew, Lucas is plunged into an all-new competition more vicious than anything he has experienced before.

Pitted against his most ruthless adversaries ever, Lucas fights to keep himself and his team alive in a race in South Africa's infernal Kalahari Desert. With powerful forces at work behind the scenes to ensure his defeat, will Lucas' determination to win at all costs mean the end of the road for him?

Garbage. Not even worth torrenting. Saw the first and it was just another disposable Statham film, which is true for 75% of his entire filmography.

Didnt Luke Goss' character get badly burned in Part 2 where he then was pressumed dead only returning to the race as Frankenstein? How the f*ck is he not burned in this one.

So interesting to see Dougray Scott's mediocre film career sputter along. Originally he was tapped by Bryan Singer to be Wolverine in the first X-Men film. I don't recall why it didn't work out, but obviously Hugh Jackman stepped into the role and the rest is history. For both of em. I guess it's similar to the Tom Selleck-Indiana Jones thing, but at least Sellect has had a pretty respectable career. Not sure I could say the same of Scott...
