Open Road Films has unveiled a restricted trailer for the upcoming "End of Watch" crime thriller, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena, Anna Kendrick, Frank Gillo, and America Ferrera. Check it out below.
Plot: The story revolves around young Los Angeles police officers Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Zavala (Pena) as they patrol the city's meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. The action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city's most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.
The new movie is written and directed by David Ayer, the man who wrote "Training Day" and directed both "Harsh Times" and "Street Kings." It is set to hit theaters on September 28th.

Does have a Colors feel about it, Dennis Hopper did a fine job with that film and should have directed a lot more IMO

Harsh Times looked good from the trailers too but that was a piece of sh*t. Street Kings was ok though.

Harsh Times is actually one of Christian Bale's best movies. The budget was very little but it was a good drama. The trailer made it look like an action movie like Drive.

but this director is getting on my f*cking nerves.he's becoming a one trick pony like Burton, and Timur. We get it you like putting mexicans and cops in movies.how bout you do something different. All of his movies take place in California.how bout a new location or make a comedy you c*nt.
A comedy with mexicans? Maybe if it was by Mel Gibson.
We already got Cheech and Chong, maybe the Farrely bros. can do a remake with a couple o'guys from the Home Depot parking lot
