Marvel is hard at work on its "Captain America" sequel, called "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," and is now in the middle of casting the female lead. Current front-runners for the role are Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air, Twilight), Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) and Imogen Poots (Fright Night).
Plot details are being kept under wraps but the subtitle suggests a comic book storyline from the 2000s that resurrected Captain America's sidekick Bucky as a brain-washed super assassin known as the Winter Solider.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (You, Me and Dupree), and co-stars Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker). It's set to hit theaters on April 4th, 2013.

The 3 front runners, the directors and the lukewarm direction they're taking the character (they'll miss the comic's plot) leads me to believe Chris Evans will be f*cked over, unable to leave the franchise under contract.
Hope he prays for more AVENGERS sequels....
