Variety has unveiled the first photo from "The Butler," showing Forest Whitaker as the title character, Eugene Allen, who worked at the White House for thirty four years. Check out the photo below.
Allen worked for eight presidents, starting with Harry Truman in 1952 and ending in 1986 with Ronald Reagan (Alan Rickman). The new movie is directed by Lee Daniels (Precious).
The rest of the cast includes Robin Williams as President Dwight D. Eisenhower, John Cusack as Richard Nixon, James Marsden as JFK, Minka Kelly as Jackie Kennedy, Melissa Leo as Mamie Eisenhower Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan, plus Oprah Winfrey, Liam Neeson, Liev Schreiber, Cuba Gooding Jr, David Oeylowo, Lenny Kravitz, Terrence Howard, and Alex Pettyfer.

Unless Daniels is not relying too much on the cast to carry this film through, it could actually be worth the watch ---as long as there's a good story to tell.
For now, i'm not too sure abt it, will have to wait for a trailer i guess.
