Pixar is in talks with Ellen DeGeneres to reprise her role as Dory, a blue tang fish who suffers from short-term memory loss, in the upcoming "Finding Nemo" sequel.
The new film will bring back director Andrew Stanton (John Carter), while Victoria Strouse is writing the script. A 2016 release date is projected. Meanwhile, the studio will re-release the original movie in 3D theaters next month.
"Finding Nemo" was first released in 2003 and went on to become the highest-grossing original Pixar movie, earning $868 million worldwide.
