Glenn Beck on the other hand - how the f*ck, 'merica? No one knows him outside the States and still... Oh, f*ck, there's also Limbaugh.

@bando

Overrated with Awesome action dat in. Seriously, Pearl Harbor sucks as a movie, but I still own the collectors box cause it has such f*cking awesome action scenes. Guilty pleasure.

@Rambo

Truth.

And, ah... Tyler Perry?
Ranger writes:

Just like Troy... I didn't mind Pearl Harbor (the movie, not the real bombing of it... that was just cowardly!). It is what it is. A romance story in the middle of a tragedy (see Titanic, or Legends of the Fall)... or... (sniffle)... The Notebook... (sniffle)...

God Bless James Garner!

I'm surprised Oprah's earnings aren't siginificantly less- the OWN network is a giant, open sore of a financial mess that is hemmorhaging money and headed for an iceberg... She must be insulated from that.

Lists like these are clear evidence that much of Hollywood is not a meritocracy. But what most of these people are, are mass-market BRANDS that are consumed by the entertainment-consuming public. Even if you have talent to spare, which a few of these people do (Pacquiao, Tiger, hell, even Spielberg still has cinema chops), it's not enough to make the big money. Make your name a f*cking trademark and then you're on this list. Oh, and considering Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck are on this list, pandering to the public is apparently profitable too...
Scott Baiowulf writes:
