Producer Says There's No Plan for "Avatar 4"Posted: September 3rd, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
James Cameron recently said that he will stop working on all other projects and focus on "Avatar" installments for the rest of his film career. "I'm in the 'Avatar' business. Period. That's it. I'm making 'Avatar 2,' 'Avatar 3,' maybe 'Avatar 4,'" he said.
Then came word that 20th Century Fox believes in the franchise so much that it has greenlit for all three sequels to be shot back-to-back. But according to producer Jon Landau, that's not exactly true. "We [are] doing two back-to-back, but not a third," he said.
The original plan was to have "Avatar 2" in theaters in December of 2014. But according to Cameron, the sequel will likely be ready by the end of 2015 and the third film will follow a year later. Regarding "Avatar 4," everyone is eager to make it happen, but no one is willing to confirm that there's currently a plan in place to make it a reality.

Now we need someone to go back in time and kpee the first one from beig made.
And hubris indeed, from the man that loves to lecture the world on human arrogance.
Can you say "hypocrite", Cameron, or just "ka-ching"?
