Christian Bale recently appeared in the Chinese war film "The Flowers of War." And now Hollywood actors Adrien Brody and Tim Robbins have signed on to play an American journalist and a Catholic priest in China's "Back to 1942."
Today we have a trailer for the new film, which focuses on a deadly drought in 1942 that takes its toll on central China's Henan province during the war against Japan.
"Back to 1942" is directed by Feng Xiaogang, who last helmed "Aftershock," one of the highest-grossing movies in China. The movie is set to hit theaters in November in China. A US release date has yet to be set.
