"Resident Evil" Director Wants to Make "Monster Hunter" MoviePosted: September 14th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Director Paul WS Anderson has been working on "Resident Evil" films for over a decade, with the fifth installment, called "Resident Evil: Retribution," set to hit theaters this weekend.
While promoting the film, Anderson spoke to CinemaToday, revealing that he's in early stages of adapting the "Monster Hunter" video game franchise for the big screen. He explained that he's a huge fan of video games, and after his success with "Resident Evil," Capcom trust him to do a great job.
"Monster Hunter" was originally released in 2004 and follows a hunter who must complete tasks given to him by a village elder. These tasks mainly include tracking and hunting specific creatures, with the goal of killing or capturing them.

James Cameron and Adam Savage in the same room, on the same show? I don't know if they'll be able to capture both of those massive egos in the same shot.

Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, and Soldier are the only semi-watchable movies that this assjester has ever made.

Uh oh, Milla needs more Prada!
"Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, and Soldier are the only semi-watchable movies that this assjester has ever made."
FTFY.
"He explained that he's a huge fan of video games, and after his success with "Resident Evil," Capcom trust him to do a great job."
Two things. Define success, and if he's such a great fan of video games, why hasn't he adapted RE into anything more than a money-making vehicle for his whore-c*nt Eurotrash wife?
