Chris Evans signed on for a total of six Marvel films when he took the role of Captain America. He already appeared in "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "The Avengers," which means that he's still obligated to appear in four more movies.
We already know that "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will begin filming in March and "The Avengers" sequel is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. So unless Marvel wants to waste his appearances, Evans will likely not cameo in any movies for other superheroes. But that's exactly what he would like to do.
"[Chris] Hemsworth and I talked about that. I would love to do a [cameo] in 'Thor 2,'" he said, adding that fans likely expect these cameos. "It's obviously going to be tricky trying to work out the plot, the reason why I am not there to help him, and why he is not there to help me."
After "The Avengers," it was assumed that Mark Ruffalo would make a cameo as the Hulk in "Iron Man 3." But it's already been confirmed that that won't happen either.

Seems obvious that Evans wants out of his current contractual obligations fast. It amounts to him not getting paid as much as other Hollywood heavies. Still landing Cap was a necessary stepping stone to gain more marketing exposure especially with Marvel franchise. So even if Evans makes a cameo to wipe Thor's ass after he craps out thunder it still counts as an appearance. Assuming Evans completes his 6 picture deal, he can then try to negotiate a new Contract with Marvel - if they are still interested in raping the character. Or he can get raped in a different manner by joining James Franco and Shia LeBeouf to work on independent porn arthouse films. I am betting on the former as he knows full well not to bite the hand that feeds him.
