As promised, MGM has unveiled a brand new trailer for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," the first film in the trilogy that will serve as a prequel to "The Lord of the Rings." Check it out below.
Plot: Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), a Hobbit, journeys to the Lonely Mountain accompanied by a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.
Peter Jackson returned to direct the "The Hobbit," which is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on December 14th.

Will watch...but still think the studio is retarded for making this 3 movies. The book was boring enough. One 3 hour movie would probably sufficed...

People who haven't read the book but are going to see this film need to be aware that the tone of The Hobbit is entirely different to Lord of the Rings.
It looking cartoony is exactly what the book is like.

Not as epic as the LOTR trilogy, but if its Jackson's then I'll watch it
