Last month, producer Adi Shankar (Dredd, The Grey) revealed that he's developing a female version of "The Expendables." And now comes word that former MMA fighter Gina Carano (Haywire) is in talks to join the cast.
"I don't know how I'm supposed to make a movie that is supposed to be the female version of 'The Expendables' without Gina Carano in it," said Shankar who's financing the film. Dutch Southern is on board to write the script.
Shankar says that he's in talks with other high-profile actresses, previously mentioning names like Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, Helen Mirren and Jamie Lee Curtis. Fans have added names like Sigourney Weaver, Kate Beckinsale and Linda Hamilton as actresses they would like to see in the movie.

Just make another Gina Carano movie and leave these other c*nts on the geriatric runway.
If they really want a film made up of all these ex-supermodel "action" stars just merge the Resident Evil and Underworld franchises, so these d*ckless fanboys that keep paying to see that crap can finally have the j*zzfest of their lives. But if you want to get serious, at least cast some chicks that can handle themselves and have a little muscle: Carano, Tara from True Blood, Jessica Biel, Mother Russia from KA2, Kris Cyborg (MMA chick that beat Gina's ass and also tested positive for steroids), Zap from 90s American Gladiator (and Skin Deep), that psycho trainer from Biggest Loser (Gillian Michaels), and Iris Kyle (current Ms. Olympia). They may not all be great to look at but at least it would be a little more realistic than that last sh*tty Batman movie starring Kung Fu Catwoman.
