Yoshi: YES .Im a big fan of the Darren Shan saga, and was always hoping for a film, when I found out a few years ago that Warner Brothers had bought the rights to make a film, I was seriously excited, but they never made a film and the excitement left. Then finding a trailer of it on this website, the excitement came shooting back, waiting for the film to open was the hardest thing ever as I just wanted to see it. Finally the day came on 23/10/09 me and two other friends went to see the movie we had been waiting for, for a few years, and I wasn’t disappointed. Sure there were a few things that weren’t book accurate but that is the case with all book to film movies, and if anyone out there thinks it should be book accurate, then think of the film and books as two separate things. I can’t wait for the next instalments, and hope they keep it up. I can see why the author Darren Shan liked how it came out. So i give this film 7/10 |
