Rambo: 'Sucker Punch' is not Zack Snyder's finest hour.It all starts from the poor script which doesn't make sense at all and continues with some poor casting such as Jenna Malone for example.The movie has its highs (train fights scene with robots) and lows (superficial dialogue among the characters)and doesn't really manage to lift up or make us really care about the story or it's characters.I would like to mention,though,Miss Abbie Cornish for her striking beauty and solid acting as sweet pea,Oscar Isaacs does a great job as well as Blu.
Bottom line:brainless action movie that doesn't know what it wants to be...

Johnnyb: The history is confusing even doesn´t make an effort to give a great detail about the characters and their problems. Even when we are seeing Emily Browning coming to win at the end..... what you got..... She is not the main character in the history!!!!! The problem with the film their entire effort to be a good plot is support only in visual and music.... looks more like a music video than a film. Every 5 minutes you got music without nonsense..... I know that is Zack Snyder´s first effort on writing a screenplay, but this one doesn´t redeem itself..... The only thing that makes a great effort is developing action but after that.... the movie doesn´t work.... is going nowhere and the climax even is stupid predictable and low expectations of what can be a great outcome..... This film is the Inception for women..... In other case, Snyder see in the ladies just sexuality and not a great persona like in the film.... Like his other films, I was just expecting Baby Doll getting fucked or something like that..... Every Zack Snyder film has sex and this one was the exception but subtile..... Now I´m worry because if this the man that Nolan select to carry a big project like Superman.... God has mercy on us.... Maybe we are seeing potential Bomb Box Office.... Snyder, Nolan and Crew, watch out!!!!! |
