bengrimm: Got to see a sneak preview of The Fourth Kind last week. My buddy works in a theater where they were hosting a screening for a local university group. I was blown away. I am usually into a lot of blood and gore, and this is a lot more subtle, and really terrified me more than I expected. You get some sense of what is going on from the trailer, but . . . it's a lot more intense than even the pretty intense trailer seems. |

don't want to give anything away since it doesn't go wide for a few more days - and with this sort of movie, the less you know going in, the better, i think.
but i thought it was pretty amazing. the way they mixed footage was really different than anything i've ever seen before. and no matter where you stand on ufos and aliens and whatnot, i think this movie will make a lot of people think.
it was also really good to see mila doing something a little more serious and thought provoking. |

legend_gary: The Fourth Kind was one of the best sci-fi horror films. Like the other reviewers said, this movie definitely had terrifying scenes and will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I also thought actress Milla Jovovich did a phenomenal job taking on this role. All in all, this film was scary and had a great storyline. It's a movie you can definitely appreciate since it'll leave a lasting impression on you... an absolute must-see in my book! |
